Stream RINI’s New Masterpiece ‘Lucky 7’

Someone UB has had on our radar since his 2020 track “My Favourite Clothes,” is Filipino-Australian musician RINI. Today he has released his anticipated new masterpiece “Lucky 7” via Warner Records.

Over weaving break-beats and ethereal synths, the singer/songwriter wears his heart firmly on his sleeve as he bridges succinct songwriting and stripped back vocals across the seven-track EP.

“Lucky 7” is a seven-track EP that delves into my experiences over the past few years. It blends R&B, Funk, Rock, and Alternative elements, capturing emotions of longing, reflections on the past, and hopes for the future. “These songs are part of a larger project I’ve been developing, chosen as the lucky few that made it onto the EP,” states RINI.

The EP contains previously released singles “Miracle,” “Matter To You” and “Your Ecstasy,” as well as new material that showcases RINI’s impassioned prose. These songs have already garnered significant praise from major voices in media, including Joe Budden, who exclaimed on his podcast: “RINI! I love you. Finally, someone keeping the guitarist alive on the end of records.”

RINI’s refined songwriting skills maintain a certain level of honesty and openness that has defined his past work. And “Lucky 7” feels as intimate as a closely guarded secret, a tender collection of blissed-out anthems that chronicle the free-fall of falling in love.

That sensation, and his profound courage to confront vulnerability, is channeled into songs like “Gone With The Wind.” Arriving alongside the EP, RINI unveils the accompanying video for his aforementioned single, depicting a solo shot of the crooner’s exploration of dreamy melodies and slow-burning guitar riffs.

Effortlessly striking a chord with audiences worldwide, RINI’s latest entry reminds us all that finding true love is not about luck; it just happens when you least expect it. The new project marks RINI’s first full-length release since his critically acclaimed “UltraViolet” EP.
